My personalised baubles are bringing me joy this week! There's a blanket of low cloud over Cumbria, but the sunshine and colour are here in my little calligraphy studio which is bursting with sky blues and cheerful pinks.

I'm pleased with all the preparations I've made this year - Christmas can be a rush, with every bespoke bauble taking a few hours to paint, write, varnish and pack up safe (and pretty!) for its journey to you. So I've pre-painted a hundred or so, decorated them with flowers and leaves and gold dots... and they're waiting patiently to find out whose names will be written on them!
I've taken to calling my baubles by the names I wrote on them when I came up with each new design. Evie (olive green bauble with painted leaves) has been a firm favourite since the day I wrote her. I adore Wren (happy pink with gold flowers and green leaves), and I love Rowan (a delicious purple bauble with leaves and gold dots.

I'm also loving my little collection of Dad and Mum baubles - which can be ordered in any combination of mums and dads you'd like!
The plan is to free up some time so I can write family tree orders as they come in, in the run up to Christmas. I've launched a new family tree collection and I'm really excited to share those - they shine with beautiful moon gold ink, which I love.
