Gift Voucher - modern calligraphy workshops (Manchester)


These gorgeous copper foiled gift vouchers are for my modern calligraphy workshops in Manchester.

They're simple and lovely to give as a gift now, allowing the recipient to book a date of their choice. Workshops are for absolute beginners, and perfect for anyone of a crafty persuasion!

The voucher entitles the recipient to a place in any of the workshops I'm holding at Manchester Craft & Design Centre, subject to availability. I advise booking early! Vouchers can be sent in a handwritten and personalised envelope (please request this in the 'notes to seller' section when you order), along with a letter detailing where and when workshops will be held and how to book a date.

Students will learn how to write with a traditional dip pen, using lightness and pressure to create beautiful thin and thick strokes. I'll teach the basics of a modern calligraphy alphabet and show how to vary the flow of lettering to create different styles!

Calligraphy pens, paper, inks, practice sheets and examples will be provided - there's no need to bring anything.

At the end of the calligraphy workshop students will take home a pen and nib set, paper and guidelines. I'll also bring along a selection of inks and nibs to purchase on the day for students who have fallen in love with calligraphy and want to practice more at home!

All workshops are held on Fridays and Saturdays throughout the year.

Shipping from United Kingdom

All UK orders will be sent by First Class post. Special Delivery is available in the UK - contact me if you'd like your order to be sent this way for a small additional fee.

Overseas orders (ie non-UK delivery) will be sent by AirMail, or alternatively by an international tracked & signed service where available for a small additional fee. Please contact me if you'd like your order to be tracked. A signature may be required on delivery.

Please allow enough time for your order to be produced and delivered from the UK.

We are not responsible for any shipping delays due to customs. Depending on the country, packages may stay in customs for several weeks or more. Please look into the customs and import policies of your country before placing your order.
